There You'll Be - Faith Hill

Sunday, December 18, 2011 0

While watching Protege at GMA Channel 7, I was touched to the song that is sung by one the contestants. And then I remembered that it was one of my fave song, once in my life. And here it is my dear readers, introducing again to you

There You'll Be - Faith Hill

When I think back
On these times
And the dreams
We left behind
I'll be glad 'cause
I was blessed to get
To have you in my life
When I look back
On these days
I'll look and see your face
You were right there for me

[Chorus:]
In my dreams
I'll always see you soar
Above the sky
In my heart
There will always be a place
For you for all my life
I'll keep a part
Of you with me
And everywhere I am
There you'll be
And everywhere I am
There you'll be

Well you showed me
How it feels
To feel the sky
Within my reach
And I always
Will remember all
The strength you
Gave to me
Your love made me
Make it through
Oh, I owe so much to you
You were right there for me

[Repeat chorus]

'Cause I always saw in you
My light, my strength
And I want to thank you
Now for all the ways
You were right there for me
You were right there for me
For always

[Chorus:]
In my dreams
I'll always see you soar
Above the sky
In my heart
There will always be a place
For you for all my life
I'll keep a part
Of you with me
And everywhere I am
There you'll be
And everywhere I am
There you'll be
There you'll be

A Cab Driver And A Nun

One night a Nun flagged down a taxi and told him to go to 5th and Main St. While driving the Cab driver began to laugh, the Nun asked "What is so funny?" The cab driver said "I've always wanted to get head from a Nun!" The Nun said "Well there are 3 regulations." The cab driver said "What are they?" The Nun said "Well you have to be catholic, can not be married and you can not have any children!" The cab driver said "I'm catholic,no wife and no childern!" The Nun said "Pull into an alley." So they did, and the Nun did what he wanted, and they got into the cab and drove off. The Cab driver began to cry. "Whats wrong said the Nun?" "I lied to you, I'm Baptist, I am married, and I have 3 kids!" The nun asid "Thats ok my name is Tom and I'm going to a costume party!"

Grandma Joke #1

A grandmother is giving directions to her grown grandson, who is coming to visit with his wife:

"You come to the front door of the apartment complex. I am in apartment 14T. There is a big panel at the door. With your elbow, push button 14T. I will buzz you in. Come inside, the elevator is on the right. Get in, and with your elbow hit 14. When you get out I am on the left. With your elbow, hit my doorbell."

"Grandma, that sounds easy, but why am I hitting all these buttons with my elbow?"

"You're coming empty handed?"

The Adoring Father 10 Rules of Dating

The Adoring Fathers Ten Rules of Dating

Rule One:

If you pull into my driveway and honk you'd better be delivering a package, because you're sure not picking anything up.
Rule Two:
You do not touch my daughter in front of me. You may glance at her, so long as you do not peer at anything below her neck. If you cannot keep your eyes or hands off of my daughter's body, I will remove them.
Rule Three:
I am aware that it is considered fashionable for boys of your age to wear their trousers so loosely that they appear to be falling off their hips. Please don't take this as an insult, but you and all of your friends are complete idiots. Still, I want to be fair and open minded about this issue, so I propose this compromise: You may come to the door with your underwear showing and your pants ten sizes too big, and I will not object. However, in order to ensure that your clothes do not, in fact come off during the course of your date with my daughter, I will take my electric nail gun and fasten your trousers securely in place to your waist.
Rule Four:
I'm sure you've been told that in today's world, sex without utilizing a "Barrier method" of some kind can kill you. Let me elaborate - when it comes to sex, I am the barrier, and I will kill you.
Rule Five:
It is usually understood that in order for us to get to know each other, we should talk about sports, politics, and other issues of the day. Please do not do this. The only information I require from you is an indication of when you expect to have my daughter safely back at my house, and the only word I need from you on this subject is: "early"
Rule Six:
I have no doubts that you are a popular fellow with many opportunities to date other girls. This is fine with me as long as it is okay with my daughter. Otherwise, once you have gone out with my little girl, you will continue to date no one but her until she is finished with you. If you make her cry, I will make you cry.
Rule Seven:
As you stand in my front hallway, waiting for my daughter to appear, and more than an hour goes by, do not sigh and fidget. If you want to be on time for the movie, you should not be dating. My daughter is putting on her makeup, a process than can take longer than painting the Golden Gate Bridge. Instead of just standing there, why don't you do something useful, like changing the oil in my car?
Rule Eight:
The following places are not appropriate for a date with my daughter:
1) Places where there are beds, sofas, or anything softer than a wooden stool.
2) Places where there is darkness.
3) Places where there is dancing, holding hands, or happiness.
4) Places where the ambient temperature is warm enough to induce my daughter to wear shorts, tank tops, midriff T-shirts, or anything other than overalls, a sweater, and a goose down parka zipped up to her throat.
5) Movies with a strong romantic theme are to be avoided; movies which features chain saws are okay.
6) Hockey games are okay.
7) Old folks homes are better.
Rule Nine:
Do not lie to me. I may appear to be a potbellied, balding, middle-aged, dimwitted has-been, but on issues relating to my daughter, I am the all-knowing, merciless god of your universe. If I ask you where you are going and with whom, you have one chance to tell me the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I have a shotgun, a shovel, and five acres behind me.
Rule Ten:
Be afraid, Be very afraid. It takes very little for me to mistake the sound of your car in the driveway for a chopper coming over a rice paddy in China. When my Agent Orange starts acting up, the voices in my head frequently tell me to clean the guns as I wait for you to bring my daughter home. As soon as you pull into the driveway you should exit the car with both hands in plain sight. Speak the perimeter password, announce in a clear voice that you have brought my daughter home safely and early, then return to your car -- there is no need for you to come inside. The camouflaged face at the window is mine.

Words that Should be in the Dictionary

Tuesday, December 13, 2011 0
Eight years ago I was very active in Yahoo! Chatrooms. And then accidentally invited to the Architectures and Engineers Chatroom, whereas chatters are very warm and friendly. That's why I enjoyed chatting and attended the room when no one is around. Months passed by and the topics about Engineering and Architecture could not be maintained in the room so ate "Miyaw" created an egroup where any information can be shared and posted. It was then named Architects, Engineers Atbp since other professionals also wanted to join the group. Soon the room was filled with regular chatters from day to day and kept on increasing every week. Actually the egroup does not just extend their help to chat mates by sharing ideas .  AEA also conducted bi-annual grand eyeballs and outreach programs, to help not only its members, but, in its small simple way, less fortunate citizens of the metropolis. Though I didn't had the chance to join on their activities during those days because I got busy on my studies and part time work, I treasured the group and still has a part in me. Articles

I mentioned this because my current post are came from one of my Ate's in the group. When I conducted a research at Philippines' National Library, I got an eyeball with Ate Shery Ann Recta a.k.a. Princess_Donita because her work place is near the library. Before I go home, she gave me a remembrance, A compilation of Quotations, Articles, Short Stories and even a Novel in a CD. I put a caption on the CD that's why I didn't forget the date when she gave it to me, it was September 10, 2003, and still okay. I just want to share it to all of you. And for sure a lot more will be posted soon...

Bankers Life

Friday, December 09, 2011 16

I used to work in a Rural Bank. Banking hours from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. One year and nine months as a Bank Teller and one year as Loans Bookkeeper. I can say that my life as a banker is tremendously exciting and challenging. I remember when I started as a Bank Teller I was really nervous whenever I accepted an over the counter transactions. I'm nervous because every cash disbalance is charge to me. Every fake money that missed on your sight is a Teller's responsibility. Co-workers said that when you experienced to pay back a cash shortages you can fully call as a Bank Teller. Lol, luckily I only pay back One Thousand Pesos  (Php 1,000.00) for the whole period of being a Teller unlike to other Tellers that had a shortages that reached to Ten Thousand Pesos and even more than that.

The usual thinking when the bank close at 3:00pm no other transactions conducted. But no, because when it close at 3pm tellers should finish counting bills and coins, balance all cash and non-cash transactions. Arrange all deposits, withdrawals, official receipts and other bank documents numerically. And also generate reports from a Banking System. Aside from that, CASA (Current Account, Savings Account) Tellers still has some reports to comply during Monthly, Quarterly and Year-End Audit.

My life as a Teller ended when I promoted as a Loans Bookkeeper. I also acted as a Customer Service Associate. Whew! and that is the day when my life turns upside down. Being a Loans Bookkeeper is not a joke. I knew it from the very start that is not an easy job and I don't turn back to a challenge, a big challenge that was.

From that moment in time, lol, I didn't had a very smooth day. I was very attached to my work. And doing an audit reports makes my day like a hell. Balancing a report from the records that almost a year past is like haunting a needle in the mountain of hay. Oh yah, Auditing is seasonal, Monthly, Quarterly and Year-End. But mind you, my work is not just like doing a seasonal audit report. I still have to do the Tuesday Report, Friday Report and Month-End Report. A never ending reports. And doing such report doesn't stop me from assisting clients needs and inquiries. Plus I still have to give the Account Officer's needs. A never ending hardship but if you love, manage and know the techniques, you will have a fruitful and marvelous day ahead of it.

My Life as a Banker didn't revolved in just doing a never ending reports. I loved the tradition of celebrating birthdays, Christmas Parties and Summer Outings. What made us unique is that we have an overall celebration and branches celebration. And if we are invited we can also join to other branch :D .

People Behind Me Making Money Online

Tuesday, December 06, 2011 0
I'm an Internet Savvy or I would say Facebook and Yahoo Messenger addict. When I struggled emotionally and financially, surfing the net is my way of venting. While checking around I was bugged from one blogger to another. And I was entertained again, inspired and learned a lot from each and everyone of them.

At first, I do blog just to practice my English Grammar and Vocabulary for some personal reasons. And I never thought I would have a chance to make money from it.  Until, I found these great people.

I broaden and discovered creating free website through my schoolmate Sheryl Felipe. She's also the Gorgeous Woman behind me doing Paid to Click (PTC)

I was inspired by Ate Betchay of Buhay sa Korea Blog, She is a Pinay married to a Korean. I accidentally ended-up to her site while finding tips of going to South Korea. Her blog description was Pinay, Seoulite, Working Mom, and Wife to a Korean. She's been one of my inspirations.Whenever I feel lazy to write, I just go to her site and read. Her site never fails to amused me and envy her. Lol, in spite of her busy days, she still manage to write. I can say that her blog is not focus in one topic, and yet she captured the attention of readers. And mind you she is also a simple entrepreneur that added to the lists of why I admire her so much ;) .

And another person behind the new Technology that captured my attention was Gem, The Lady Programmer. I've learned a lot from her blog regarding making money online and some of the best ways of getting paid from it.

And Odesk was personally introduced to me by my cousin Raymond Geronimo Ciupan.

In addition, Junci Arceta is my latest partner with this who help me from designing to -- ;)

Thanks to all!

To Love You More

Thursday, December 01, 2011 0
Guyz, before I go to bed just want to share another song dedicated to my MrForever&After ... Kilig to the bones :D

To Love You More lyrics - Celine Dion
Songwriters: Foster, David; Miles, Junior;

Take me back in the arms I love
Need me like you did before
Touch me once again
And remember when
There was no one that you wanted more

Don't go, you know you will break my heart
She won't love you like I will
I'm the one who'll stay
When she walks away
And you know I'll be standing here still

I'll be waiting for you
Here inside my heart
I'm the one who wants to love you more
You will see I can give you
Everything you need
Let me be the one to love you more

See me as if you never knew
Hold me so you can't let go
Just believe in me
I will make you see
All the things that your heart needs to know

I'll be waiting for you
Here inside my heart
I'm the one who wants to love you more
You will see I can give you
Everything you need
Let me be the one to love you more

And some way all the love that we had can be saved
Whatever it takes we'll find a way

I'll be waiting for you
Here inside my heart
I'm the one who wants to love you more
You will see I can give you
Everything you need
Let me be the one to love you more
