Filipinos required a visa when travelling to United Kingdom (United Kingdom made up of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) and this blog post is about my journey in applying a UK visa for my purpose of travel in Scotland.
- I was planning to visit my boyfriend in Scotland for 15 days.
- I was applying for tourist visa.
- My work status is self-employed (I have a home-based boutique in the Philippines).
Requirements submitted:
For Myself
- Print out of appointment
- Visa application form
- One passport sized colour photograph
- Old and current passport
- Photocopy & Original Authenticated Birth Certificate
- Letter of Intent
- Itinerary
- Copy of my previous travel
- Photocopy & Original Bank Statements and Bank Certificate
- Photocopy & Original Business Registration Documents [Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Business Name Certificate, City Business Permit, Bureau of Internal Revenue Certificate of Registration]
- Photocopy & Original BIR Form 2551M
- Photocopy & Original BIR Form 2316 also called Certificate of Compensation Payment or Income Tax Withheld of previous year.
- Invitation Letter from my boyfriend as my sponsor
- Photocopy & Original Remittance forms from my boyfriend and sister in Taiwan as my proof of other income

- Passport copy

It took a while before I finished my online application because I waited some of my requirements before I do it.
