While in Tagbilaran City, I stayed in Casa Rey Francis Pension House & Restaurant, almost 15 minutes drive from the Tagbilaran Airport and 10 minutes walk from Tagbilaran Town Proper. Since I am on a tight budget, Casa Rey Francis Pension House & Restaurant was the only place I've got that was the nearest from the Airport. I booked my reservation through booking.com, what I like on this site is that no deposit will be charged upon reservation and no need a credit card to booked online. I chose the standard double room worth Php 750.00. It was air-conditioned, with cable TV, a personal safe and a wardrobe. Bathroom comes with hot and cold shower. Private parking is possible. WIFI was available in all areas and free of charge but I find the connection so poor.
What to expect?
I can say that the place is fairly enough to have a room to stay for a night. It was clean, the bathroom looks new. However, the double lock of the room was damaged. The surroundings was so quite that gave me a feeling of I was on a ghost house, lol, It was so dull.
